What’s Poppin today!? OBAMA

I haven’t posted in a couple days because I have been struggling with what to write.  I would always like my blog to be interesting and captivate each reader so sometimes I must take small breaks and recharge.  I was watching the news this morning, which is a rarity, and I saw a poll that said something like %32 of Americans think Obama is a hypocrite.  I only caught the tail-end so I assume it was over the ‘Torture Photos.’  Here’s what I think; Obama did promise to be %100 honest with the American people.   The problem is it’s easy to say that when you are not the President of the Greatest and most powerful nation in the world.  Now he faces retribution from the international community and puts American life’s at risk and peril if he releases these photos.  It will do more damage to publicly absolve these terrible pictures then it will to look like a hypocrite.  So is he a hypocrite ‘Yes.’  Which brings me to my point ; some people would say a sin is a sin, a lie is a lie, and a crime is a crime but is it really that black & white.  If someone lies unintentionally is it worst than a malicious lie intended to deceive?  Where exactly is the gray area?  If you want to be biblical about it, which I don’t (lol), to the best of my knowledge the bible doesn’t differentiate on the ‘true’ level of a ‘Sin.’  But clearly, the world has changed and the threats are far more volatile.  USE YOUR COMMON SENSE PEOPLE!  Sometimes decisions must be made at a heavy price and we must like Obama put pride aside and say “This is what’s best for my constituents & peers.”

I guess you never really know what the future holds and/or what it is you will have to do to maintain a steady course.  I believe Obama had and has the most noble of intentions and our best interest in heart and mind.  This has in no way steered my faith in his leadership because just like any ‘Good Parent’ will tell you, “Sometimes you have to be the bad guy.”  GO OBAMA!!
