“Sun Don’t Shine” to “Heartbreak Gotham”

It’s been a while!!  I’ve been crazy busy but all is well.  While working on the new album ‘Sun Don’t Shine’ I realized that the name was too dark for the album.  It just started to not sound like a ‘Sun Don’t Shine’ album.  More instead it took on a lighthearted undertone although the first couple of tracks may initially seem pretty DARK!  After sitting with it I decided I liked the name ‘Heartbreak Gotham’ and I believe it’s far more appropriate!  It’s a double entendre!  Heartbreak is synonymous with pain and darkness.  Then again so is Gotham.  Gotham is known for it dreary/seedy disposition!  ‘Heartbreak Gotham’ it seems pretty cut and dry.  However, Gotham can also represent a feeling.  A very dark feeling.  Hence, Gotham is the type of heartbreak I feel sometimes.  That deep down ripping your soul out with it’s bare hands.  Everybody knows that feeling! So basically it’s what I’d like to think is a clever play on words!  Others may not think so! I’ll be updating my progress periodically! HEARTBREAK GOTHAM
